Persian Cat Portrait - Work in Progress

“I love seeing part completed drawings” my partner says to me when he asks how my work is going and I admit that I often find artists’ sketchbooks as interesting as their final work so here are three work in progress photos of the grumpy-but-loveable Persian cat portrait.

Completed portrait.

Approx. size: 80mm x 80mm.

I don’t show work in progress of commissions until the client has received the portrait. Most people want to keep it a surprise for the anticipation and to enjoy the emotions of unwrapping the final, framed piece.

It’s extremely special and wonderful for me to experience this in person and I feel closer to the client and humbled and honoured in equal measure.

Warm wishes,

Laura
